Brityne Rucker has built a career around connecting people to the stories that matter, particularly in agriculture and rural life. With a background in agricultural communications and journalism, alongside her job at PLJV, she currently serves as a producer and anchor for Eye on Agriculture and a morning news anchor for CBS KWCH 12, where she works to bring the challenges and successes of farmers, ranchers, and conservationists to the forefront. Her experience in media, promotion, and content creation has helped amplify the voices of those dedicated to agriculture and natural resource stewardship.
Brityne’s connection to agriculture runs deep. She grew up on a farming and ranching operation in Kansas, where she experienced firsthand the joys and challenges of rural life. That upbringing instilled in her a deep appreciation for the land and the people who work it. She carried that passion to Kansas State University, earning a degree in Agricultural Communications and Journalism, where she further developed her skills in storytelling and outreach.
Now, as part of PLJV, Brityne is excited to use her passion for storytelling to highlight the impact of conservation efforts across the region. She is dedicated to connecting people to the land and sharing the critical work being done to protect it in a way that is engaging, informative, and inspiring.
Brityne was drawn to PLJV because of its commitment to collaborative conservation. Having grown up in agriculture, she understands the importance of balancing production with sustainability. The opportunity to work alongside a team focused on making a real difference for both wildlife and communities is something she is proud to be a part of.
